Peaceful Condo

The Layout:

Quiet, private, well-lit, 2-story, 2BR, condo (each bedroom is for 1 TDY guest) in East San Diego county. Features a fully stocked large kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, laundry, drink bar, and backyard patio. The condo complex features a pool, mailboxes, and manicured pathways, and lots of parking.

At the edge of a condo complex with mailboxes, pool, and lots of parking, this quiet two-story condo features a full kitchen, high-tech entertainment system in each room, a 60-inch TV with movies on demand in the living room, fast Wi-Fi, laundry, two bedrooms, bathroom, and even a private back patio for eating dinner under the stars.

Kids accepted. Pets not generally accepted, but occasional exceptions can be made for dogs kept in the backyard. No cats.

Your Private Area:

The bedrooms all have new spring-coiled, queen-sized, custom-built beds. All new bedding, TVs, nightstands, and tons of closet space to store your stuff.

For entertainment, you have both cable TV and Apple TV where you can watch unlimited free movies and TV shows, on-demand, from Netflix, Netflix, Hulu Plus, HBO, YouTube, Disney, WSJ, Bloomberg, ESPN, PBS, MLS, MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, the Tennis Channel, YouTube, and PBS Kids.

The Common Areas

A fully stocked kitchen, kitchen island, corner coffee/tea bar, dining area, and living room with a fold-out couch that double as an additional queen-sized bed.

It has central heating, AC, cable TV, fast Wi-Fi, laundry, and parking right by the front door.
The kitchen is large and features a refrigerator 4-burner stove, two ovens, coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, cutlery, pans, pots, wine glasses, salt/pepper, paper towels, etc. The refrigerator comes pre-stocked with bottled water and fresh Starbucks coffee beans. It even has an ice maker.

The bathroom is clean, stocked, and newly remodeled!

What guests can access

Everything in the unit and the pool, mailboxes, parking, and other condo complex facilities.

About the neighborhood

The neighborhood is a very safe, very quiet, family residential area. It is located in the city of Santee, which is in San Diego’s East County. This property is generally sunnier than the coast with easy access to beaches, mountains & desert. Easy walking access to Starbucks, frozen yogurt, and other places. 3 minutes away from Santee’s restaurant row and shopping malls.

How to get around

It is just 5 minutes from Hwy 52 and 8 minutes from Hwy 8. Using the 52, it is just 30 minutes away from the beaches at La Jolla Cove, La Jolla Shores, and freeway access to North County (and all the North County beaches).

Not far from great hiking and boating at Santee lakes. Mission Trails Regional Park is my favorite. It has over 6800 acres of rugged terrain and a multitude of trails perfect for hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing. The park boasts of San Diego’s highest peak Cowles Mountain (1594′) offering a 360° look at all San Diego has to offer.

Transit: Keep in mind that San Diego’s public transportation system is nowhere near as robust as that of New York or San Francisco. You are far better off renting a car at the local Enterprise car rental place for approx. $25/day.
