P.L.

I am from Bremerton and was assigned a TDY work project in SD and needed a place to stay, my co-worker John told me about this place (the news has been spreading around my work that they have the hot places to stay on TDY assignments).

Thanks to the way their rental agreement is structured (24-hour notice for TDY), all my unused days were reimbursed back onto my work credit card with 24-hours of my “end of mission”.

It was great to have my own place, but on my (rare) days off, still be able to join my co-workers at the Gillespie House for dinners, wine, and hanging out. It was also great to be able to carpool to our work place in Coronado.

The place was great nice, quiet, very clean, and the hosts are very nice and accommodating. Whatever I needed they got. They added a Wok and deep fryer to the place for making Pancit, and Lumpia!  We had many great dinners at the Gillespie House!

When I first I heard “El Cajon”, I thought it was too far, but I discovered that it is really only a 20-min drive. That is so worth it to be away from Downtown/Gaslamp and all the bums, crack dealers, and constant police sirens.

I will defiantly stay at one of their units again on my next TDY and recommend it to all my fellow co-workers/contractors.
